The ruins of Krakovec and Týřov castles, the nearby presidential chateau in Lány, or the Slabce chateau park are within walking distance of Křivoklát as well. By car take Highway D5 Rozvadov – Pilsen – Prague, exit 14 at Beroun, in the direction of Kladno, with diversion to Křivoklát. By train get off at Křivoklát train station.
